QET Tech Aerospace’s heavy maintenance facility construction is well underway. Construction material is arriving and the offices and warehouse in the city is being moved to the airport’s industrial park.
QET Tech Aerospace has just signed a lease agreement with the state of Sonora for a 5300 square foot building in the CEN airport industrial park.
The office will be used for engineering, planning and training for the new MRO. An office in CD Obregon is being kept to handle recruitment and other administration activities including the mailing address.
QET Tech Aerospace has just completed moving its warehouse from the city to the CEN airport industrial park. The New 12,400 square feet warehouse is being provided by the State run industrial park. It is used presently store inventory but will soon be transformed into a highly efficient shipping and receiving center which will include dedicated areas like, drop off, receiving inspection, storage, quarantine, picking and kitting, packing, create building and wood treatment area and shipping area.
Guadalajara based construction company Lonas Lorenzo has started to deliver the first construction material for the 52,500 sq ft wide body hangar in CD Obregon international airport which is scheduled to be completed this December. It is being pre-assembled in Guadalajara and then trucked to CEN airport where it will be erected. The hangar is a unique design where the completely enclosed wide body hangar can be moved to another site if necessary. “We plan to move the hangar into the industrial park off the airport. It is planned that the industrial park will become a duty free zone and the goal is to have the complete heavy maintenance facility located in the park†says Julio Cesar Alvarez, CEO of QET Tech Aerospace.
